Hi, I’m Shantaia — the owner of D&O Notary Service. I started this business because I genuinely enjoy helping people through some of life’s most important moments — whether that’s signing important documents, preparing paperwork for international travel, celebrating a wedding day, or simply making stressful situations feel a little easier.
I’ve been a commissioned notary public since 2017, and over the years I’ve built my business around professionalism, convenience, compassion, and real customer care. I know firsthand that dealing with legal documents, apostilles, passports, and identity verification can sometimes feel confusing or overwhelming, so my goal is always to make the process smooth, comfortable, and easy to understand.
In addition to mobile notary and apostille services, I also serve as a wedding officiant and love being part of such meaningful moments for couples and families. My background includes experience working with passport processing and identity verification procedures through the United States Postal Service environment, which gave me extensive experience handling sensitive documents with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
I’m also a licensed cosmetologist and certified phlebotomy technician, which may sound a little different from the average notary — but every part of my background has helped shape the way I care for and work with people. My experience includes professional client care, confidentiality practices, secure documentation procedures, and compassionate post-mortem preparation services, where patience, professionalism, and sensitivity truly matter.
One thing about me is that I believe people deserve services that feel personal — not rushed or transactional. Whether I’m meeting a client at their home, hospital, office, nursing facility, coffee shop, or helping someone last-minute, I want people to feel comfortable knowing they’re working with someone who genuinely cares about doing things the right way.
